Your career in shipping starts here.
Are you ready to launch your career in one of the world’s most dynamic industries? The Singapore Operations Trainee Programme is a two-year rotational programme designed to give you a 360-degree view of the dry bulk shipping industry. You’ll rotate through key departments, gaining hands-on experience in Operations, Chartering, Bunkers, Freight Trading, and more.
From learning the ropes of vessel operations to negotiating freight contracts, this programme will challenge you, inspire you, and set you on course for a long-term career in shipping. You’ll work alongside industry experts, build a strong global network, and even spend time onboard one of our vessels to get firsthand experience of life at sea.
Singapore—one of the world’s leading maritime hubs!
As an Oldendorff Trainee, you’ll be based in our Singapore office, where you’ll experience the fast-paced world of global shipping. Our Singapore team operates at the heart of the industry, working across international markets and time zones.
Throughout the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with teams across the world and, depending on the role, may also travel for training, business meetings, or vessel visits.
We’re not just looking for employees—we’re looking for future leaders in shipping.
