In this role you are part of the OEMD, a service desk to our commercial and technical departments
The tasks of an OEMD Manager is to collect information/data and provide support to our owned cleaning and cargo handling equipment as well as to the hold and hull conditions of chartered-in and owned vessels
You will be one of the internal contact persons for OEMD related enquiries and information. At the same time you will be in close contact with the Operation / Port Operation departments and with the Masters of our own and tc fleet.
You capture, monitor and manage received data and enquiries in our internal system
You are responsible to ensure all owned equipment is inspected on a regular basis. At the end of a voyages it will be your responsibility to follow up on the whereabouts of the cleaning equipment as well as the the sale of owned equipment to ensure cost efficiency
Furthermore, you investigate and prepare flagged checks of the equipment in cooperation with other internal departments
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential for this position
Practical experience in systematically collecting data in a management software and shipping knowledge are of advantage but not required
A high level of diligence, strong organizational skills, administrative thinking are needed for an effective performance
