Our Technology department is currently embarking on a journey in realigning itself. Over the next few years, we are modernizing and automating our systems landscape significantly. We are therefore looking for a member, who will play an integral part and will actively participate in this realignment by joining the Data Engineering Team.

 What we are looking for:

• In a group effort together with your team, you are shaping and designing our BI and data-architecture
• You are planning and implementing the migration project of our MS SQL database towards a cloud-based-solution (i.e. Azure, AWS)
• You are working on the development of our integrated data-layer as the foundation of implementing data-driven analysis and reports
• You are supporting our development team in their selection and implementation of suitable data-technologies
• You are examining and evaluating new developments in the field of data-technologies

What you bring along:

• Successfully completed training or studies in the field of IT
• You have worked with databases or BI environments for more than 3 years
• You are already experienced in working with different types of database technologies
• You are experienced in working with cloud technologies (i.e Azure, AWS) and cloud-based data-integration tools (i.e. Azure Data Factory)
• Ideally, you are already familiar with database migration projects (on-premise to cloud)
• Further to that, you are ideally familiar with agile project-processes (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) and you bring along some knowledge in Atlassian Suite (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo)
• You are solution-driven, proactive and a team player
• You enjoy communicating with our colleagues in English, because our team is indeed very international, German is a nice-to-have
