OLDENDORFF CARRIERS has decided to offer its shipmanagement services to third parties. Clients can benefit from our experience in managing our own fleet and make full use of our existing resources and economies of scale. Newbuilding or conversion projects can be handled as well, both in the design and contracting phase as well as in the supervision period.
We offer a pool of qualified seafarers and more than 30 years of expertise with multi-national crew. All of our superintendents, both with nautical as well as engineering licences, have seagoing experience and have been involved in shipmanagement for more than 10 years. Their cost-conscious approach and good relationships with shipyards and classification societies are a valuable asset in view of steeply rising costs. The procurement staff uses a tailor made "IPS" software for processing requisitions on board and purchasing them ashore. A worldwide network of suppliers, ship chandlers and forwarders help us optimise the supply logistics and keep costs under control. Our ISM system is certified by G.L. and our ISPS system is certified by G.L. and LISCR.
